    that Waratah is beautiful. Even though it's the floral emblem of NSW, you don't see them around much. My Auntie has grown one down here in the SE of South Australia so I have seen one quite recently. Being native, they should grow just about anywhere where other natives grow, I would think. I might have to look into that!

    Love your chooky pictures - I am still waiting to have my chook house assembled and to get some chooks. We have a bit to do in the area where they will be so need to get that sorted first.

      I love the Waratah too. Can't believe how lucky we are to have this beauty here when we moved in.
